This document offers clarifications and significant corrections for the first printing of the Cosmere RPG. Click here to download the Errata PDF. Each supplement’s digital edition already reflects these changes.

Introduction
Stacking Range Expansions (p. 10). In the last sentence, add “16” to the example Opportunity range so it reads, “if the die shows a 16, 17, 18, 19, or 20”.
Chapter 3: Character Statistics
Skill Examples (p. 67). In the table entry for Thievery, change “against the merchant’s cognitive defense” to “against the merchant’s Spiritual defense”.
Chapter 4: Heroic Paths
Terms from Later Chapters (p. 71). In the Conditions bullet, change “Stunned condition” to “Slowed condition”.
Calm Appeal (p. 84, 86). Change the talent’s activation type from “∞” (always active) to “★” (special activation).
Decisive Command (p. 99). Change “gain a command die” to “gain a command die, which begins as a d4 and can increase to a maximum of d12.”

Truthwatcher History (p. 182). In the third paragraph, change “Watchers of Pailiah” to “the Eyes of Pala”.

Cohesion on Others (p. 218). In the last sentence, change “the Heavy trait” to “the Cumbersome trait”.
Chapter 7: Items
Unarmed Attacks (p. 248). Change the last sentence of the Always Available trait to read, “You can make an unarmed attack even if both of your hands are holding weapons or other items, but when you do, that attack still counts as an attack using a hand of your choice. If you use the Strike action to make an unarmed attack, you might describe it as a punch, kick, or headbutt—but you must still choose which ‘hand’ is making that attack, and you can’t make another Strike using a weapon you’re holding in that hand.”
Grappling Hook (p. 259). Change “Acrobatics and Athletics tests” to “Agility and Athletics tests”.
Chapter 8: Goals and Rewards
Example Companions by Tier table (p. 281). Change all occurrences of “Standard” to “Rival”.
Example Companion: Animal (p. 281). In the last sentence, change “tier 2” to “tier 3” so it reads, “At tier 3, a character might even be able to earn the trust of a Ryshadium steed”.
Chapter 10: Combat
Reactive Strike (p. 305). Change “make a melee weapon attack against” to “make a melee weapon attack or unarmed attack against”.
Weapon Attacks (p. 306). In the second sentence, remove “either an unarmed attack or”, so it reads “When you make a weapon attack, choose a weapon you’re currently wielding in your hand…”
Forced Movement (p. 310). Change “Reactive Attack reaction” to “Reactive Strike reaction”.
Falling (p. 311). At the end of first paragraph, add “If an ability allows you to jump more than 10 feet, that doesn’t count as falling.”
Chapter 11: Conversations
Example Conversation (p. 321). In the second-to-last italicized paragraph, change “Jorni’s Spiritual defense” to “Jorni’s Cognitive defense”.
Chapter 12: Endeavors
Example Endeavor (p. 335). In the third italicized paragraph, change “along with the +3 from the plot die” to “along with the +2 from the plot die”.
Appendix: Animal Companions
Chull (p. 369). In the Strike: Pincer action, change the damage on a hit from “7 (1d6 + 4)” to “9 (1d6 + 6)”.
Mink (p. 369). In the Strike: Bite action, change “Attack +3” to “Attack +4”, and change damage on a hit from “5 (1d4 + 3)” to “6 (1d4 + 4)”.
Horse (p. 370). Change the horse’s size from “Small Animal” to “Large Animal”.
Axehind (p. 371). Change “Reduce their movement rate by 5 feet” to “Reduce their movement rate by 10 feet”.
Hunting Chicken (p. 372). Change “Remove the Aquatic feature” to “Remove their swim movement rate”.

Dustbringer of the Second Ideal (p. 200). Change the deflect value from “2 (chain)” to “2 (Abrasion)”.
Dustbringer Tactics (p. 202). Change “gravitationspren” to “flamespren”.
Dustbringer of the Third Ideal (p. 202). In the Complication effect, change “remove the Investiture cost” to “remove the Investiture and focus costs”.

Vedolin Opportunities and Complications (p. 48). Reverse the Opportunity and Complication symbols; the rolling cart should happen on ✶(Complication), and Vedolin dropping his knife should happen on ✧(Opportunity).
Talking to Taln (p. 54). Change “A PC with the Alethi expertise recognizes the vision as Rathalas” to “A PC with the Alethi expertise recognizes the description: this is Rathalas”.
Chapter 5: The Eighty’s War
The Eighty’s War (p. 93). In the first paragraph in chapter, change “The Nightwatcher encourages the PCs to proceed through the war-torn lands of Greater Hexi” to “The Nightwatcher encourages the PCs to travel to Emul’s war-torn border”.
Herald of Honor... or Odium? (p. 101). Change “preventing nascent Heralds from swearing Ideals” to “preventing nascent Radiants from swearing Ideals”.

Zvynda. Replace her current expertises with the following: “Thaylen, Azish, and Alethi: You speak these languages and automatically know basic facts about their cultures.
